Activities
Through London Branch, the Emporiki Bank Group has access to the City of London, the Financial Centre of the U.K. The Branch's major role is to meet the needs and attend to the requirements of its corporate customers in respect of the benefits and advantages of the London financial market.
In addition to the above, the branch provides its full services to an increasing number of U.K. residents who wish to purchase property in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans, where the Emporiki Bank Group is also present via its subsidiaries. Furthermore, the branch assists the active Greek and Cypriot community in London with their financial needs by offering personal and other banking products, such as mortgages.
It should be mentioned that the London Branch also manages the UK subsidiary of the Emporiki Bank Group, known as Emporiki Group Finance plc which was established in February 2004 for the issuance of EMTN and ECP debt instruments (short and medium term corporate bonds).
