Emporiki Bank supports for a fourth year the National Theater
by sponsoring the performance “Nefeles” by Aristophanes which will be presented
at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, on July 13th and 14th 2012. Emporiki Bank
remains consistent on its commitment for a meaningful contribution to the Arts
and Culture and verifies its role as one of the most historic and dynamic
financial institutions in Greece.
“Nefeles” is one of the most popular and “caustic” comedies
of Aristophanes, which under the director´s Nikos Mastorakis modern approach,
is expected to attract the attention of the audience at the Ancient Theatre of
Epidaurus as well as across Greece, during the National Theater Summer
tour.
Emporiki Bank supports once again the National Theater,
recognizing the important role as one of the longest standing and vigorous
cultural institutions of Greece. It is reminded that Emporiki had launched its
cooperation with the National Theater in 2008 when it sponsored the performance
“Oedipus the King – Oedipus at Colonus” by Sophocles.
