Human Resources

Emporiki Bank's currently has 4,000 employees, a number that decreased during the last years, as a result of the operational cost reduction policy and the effort to improve the productivity indexes.

The average age of the employees is 41.7 while the average age for executives is 48.9 and for the rest of the personnel it is 41.2..

Particular emphasis is placed on the promotion of the educational level of employees. The executives selected have a high educational background and all officers are encouraged to participate in training courses. As a result, 48.8% of the employees are holders of higher education degrees as well as postgraduate diplomas.

Incorporation and the principle of equal treatment are included in the bank's business goals as shown by the gender structure of its personnel, which reflects this orientation.
