  • How will I identify myself when calling DIAGNOSIS call center for an appointment?
    By stating your full name and credit card number.
    In the event that the card number has recently changed e.g. due to loss or conversion, you will state the previous card number provided it was one of the ‘Health Benefit’ credit cards.
  • How will I identify myself at the place of the provision of services in order to obtain a free check-up or a discount?
    By presenting your credit card and identity card or passport. In the event that the card number has recently changed e.g. due to loss or conversion, you will have to present a recent account statement of your previous card provided it was one of the ‘Health Benefit’ credit cards.
  • Is the ‘Health Benefit' offered per card or per person insured?
    Per card, i.e. a customer with two credit cards is entitled to 2 check ups, free of charge, per annum.
  • How many members of my family can join the Health Benefit?
    Up to two members in addition to yourself as long as you have two cards and each one has a different family member over 18 years of age as a joint holder.
  • I have an Emporiki Bank card. Can I get a Health Benefit card?
    Yes, provided that you convert your card into a ‘Health Benefit’ card, without charge, and sign a new agreement. Alternatively, you can apply for a second card, which will have no annual fee.
  • Can I obtain the new card without the ‘Health Benefit’?
    The advantages of the ‘Health Benefit’ plan are offered completely free of charge; so, with each new card being issued you benefit at absolutely no cost to you!
  • I am already insured for a check up and the health benefits you are offering. So, why get the new credit card?
    In addition to a free annual check up and the inclusion of all your purchases in Emporiki Reward plan, the new card offers many other medical and insurance benefits that cover you in various potentially difficult situations. Moreover, if you are already covered for a free check up, you can offer the Health Benefit check up to the joint holder of your credit card.
  • I already have a Double account and enjoy health benefits free of charge. So, why get a Health Benefit card?
    By obtaining a Health Benefit card you can enjoy a free check up per annum to which you are entitled that would otherwise, through the Double account, cost you approximately 15 euros. In this way, you have two check ups per annum (e.g. one for you and one for a joint holder of your card or account) at the price of only 15 euros.In addition, you enjoy additional health benefits and are rewarded on a monthly basis through Emporiki Reward plan.
  • When will the Bank exclude card holders from the said insurance cover?
    • If the credit card is not valid or has been cancelled.
    • Upon termination of the credit card agreement either by the main holder or the Bank for any reason whatsoever.
    • In the event that the account connected to the card is delinquent.
    • In the event that the card holder is over 75 years of age as regards the insurance cover for temporary invalidity due to an accident.
  • Can the said benefits be restored?
    In the event that a card holder has settled his/her debts, the insurance cover shall apply regularly as of the month following the said settlement, provided that the card has not been cancelled.
